Georgia Hupfel is the designer behind Georgia Bade, a label born from her love of fashion and antique textiles.
A longtime collector of embroidered tea towels, pillowcases, and crochet doilies, Georgia found herself wanting to do more with these beautiful materials than keep them tucked away in drawers. She began transforming them into one-of-one garments, giving textiles from the past an entirely new life.

Old, beautiful fabrics and the possibilities hidden inside them.
Georgia’s work is especially inspired by antique textiles—embroidered tea towels, vintage pillowcases, crochet doilies, tablecloths, and other materials that already carry a history. Rather than allowing them to remain unused, she sees the opportunity to turn them into something wearable again.

Georgia’s one-of-one pieces are handmade from repurposed vintage textiles such as tablecloths, pillowcases, and doilies. Her newer core collection consists of original designs handmade in small batches using sustainably sourced fabrics.
Every Georgia Bade piece is handmade in NYC, with textiles for the core collection sourced in NYC as well.
